  • Grades will be based on a series of homework assignments


    • Will be posted on the class web page
    • Must be submitted as hard copy by due date
    • No late submissions please
    • Do not expect to find the answers on the internet
    • All assignments require thinking beyond material discussed in class
      • Remember this is an advanced research-oriented graduate course

  • Honor code


    • Discussion of homework assignments with other students is NOT permitted
      • Questions of clarification should be raised in class
    • Homework assignments must be individually solved, no exceptions
      • Think of these as mini take-home open-book exams
